VINTAGE 1960s JAPAN PAPER MACHE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN BOBBLE HEAD WAIST FIGURE

Description

This is a vintage sort of bobble head / nodder, only his head doesn't bobble - he jiggles at the WAIST. It is made just like those Hawaiian Hula girl dancers, only this is a Native American / Indian, complete with full feathered headdress, breastplate, and holding a rifle. A small sticker on the underside is marked: "JAPAN." He measures 6 & 3/4 inches tall. It is made of a chalky / paper mache / plaster / ceramic-like / composition material. I would call the condition GOOD, but please read the description, see the pictures and make your own call as to the condition. There are a few small paint rubs on the edge of the base. Look closely, and it appears that the tip of his nose broke off and was repaired with a spot of glue. (The repaired area is about the size of a BB - VERY small.) The top of the headdress has small cracks and glue repair, on the back side. The figure still displays is very nicely. Over the years, I've seen dozens of the hula girl figures - but this is the ONLY Indian I've come across. It is guaranteed to be old & original - made in the 1950's or 1960's - or your money back.
